This website
This website does not set cookies, does not use analytics or tracking, and does not load anything from other companies. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes basic technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the pages and protect them from abuse. We do not use that data to identify you.
Our uploader app
We use a small app, "Brick & Myth uploader", to publish our videos. It runs on the owner's own computer and uses the YouTube API Services. It:
- accesses only our own YouTube channel, to upload our videos, set their titles, descriptions and schedules, and check that they uploaded correctly;
- stores the sign-in token Google issues for our channel only on the owner's computer, in a file only that user account can read;
- does not collect, store, sell or share any information about anyone else, and has no other users.
Because the app uses YouTube API Services, the YouTube Terms of Service apply, and Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Brick & Myth uploader's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Revoking access
Access granted to the uploader can be removed at any time from the Google account's security settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking it stops the app working immediately, and the stored token can no longer be used.
If you email us
If you write to us, we use your email address and message only to reply. We keep the correspondence for as long as it is needed to deal with it, and no longer than two years. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering you.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal data we hold about you, and to ask us to correct or delete it. Email us and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
